2. What does ‘data processing’ mean and who is responsible?
The term ‘data processing’ is taken to mean each processing of personal data. We understand the term 'personal data' to mean data that concern an identifiable person (the ‘concerned person’). Aptus guarantees that it has taken sufficient practical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality of data in its internal processing.
7. Do we sell your data to third parties or pass on your data to third parties?
We do not sell personal data to third parties and we do not pass your data on to third parties except:to our legal successors;where required for our services;if we are legally obliged to do so;there is a legitimate interest for Aptus or the third party;when you give your consent.In case of international transfer of personal data, we protect your data according to the level of protection that is required by European legislation. We can use anonymous, aggregated data for commercial purposes or for external reporting. This data can never be traced back to a specific individual.
8. What are your rights and how can you assert them?
The user can simply ask to see his/her personal data at any time and request any necessary rectification or removal. Account must be taken of legal data storage time limits. The user also has the right to ask at any time for his/her data not to be used for direct marketing purposes. To do so, the user can always send an e-mail to privacy@aptus.be.
9. Keep up with changes
It goes without saying that the processing of personal data will evolve over time as a consequence of changes in the law, technical advances, … Aptus therefore reserves the right to adapt this privacy policy in the future if necessary.
